Eastern Beach

On Easter Sunday, mum and dad decides to take a drive down to Geelong so that we can have a family leisure day out at the Eastern Beach (pics of the pier above). The water there is so calming and beautiful and there's even a closed off area so that the sharks can't get to us and we can still swim in the ocean. The close off area becomes like a lagoon and there's a lookout area (picture below) where people can jump off into the water.

Look at how blue and beautiful the ocean is. When we got there, we were so excited. There were many people and dogs around and we're allowed off-leash. How cool is that? Sooty wasn't though because dad said she hasn't been behaving that well and is not trustable while I am always mum and dad's Good Boy Boy (that's how mum calls me when she wants to praise me and I love it).

Here's some pics of us at the beach. As you can see clearly in the beach, I was roaming around freely while Sooty has to be leashed up. She really hated losing her freedom because she's more independent than I am. I don't really care much as long as I am with mum and dad.

Mum says I have to share the funny story with you (I don't think it's that funny). As this was my virgin experience on the beach, I was really excited and started tearing down the beach. Some sand got onto my face and out of normal instinct, I tried to get rid of it by rubbing my face on the sand. OMG.... that didn't help at all (don't understand why though). More sand got onto my face and some even ended up in my eyes. I started panicking and the more I panic, the worse the situation is becoming. However, the people came to my rescue (even though they were laughing really hard at me). Mum picked me up and started brushing the sand off my face and dad helped her. Soon, they managed to get rid of all the sand that's on my face and eyes.

I was overwhelmed by the people on the beach. There were so many of them rushing up to me to tell me that both Sooty and I are gorgeous but because of my dumb look, most of them were more infatuated with me. Muahaha...

Us on the beach...

As the sun is starting to set, mum and dad decides to call it a day off. On our drive home, we were so tired and fell asleep for the whole journey home which took around 1.5 hours.

On our way home ...

We had a fantastic day out thanks to mum and dad. It's one of the best day in my life. Thanks dad for making it so special. You're the most wonderful dad in the world. Good night fellows. My bed is beckoning to me... I better listen to that! Sweet dreams!
