Sorry I have been a bit lazy recently to update my blog (actual fact is mum won't let me use her laptop because she's been hogging it every night for the last few nights). Here's some updates in my life.

1. Dad's friend, Trudy is critically ill in the hospital at the moment and tired mum and dad has to go there every night. The doctors don't think she's going to make it and it'll be a matter of days before she passes on. Her liver has failed and her heart has had a couple of failures. Overall, her whole body is slowly shutting down. Trudy is in a lot of pain so I'm praying that she won't have to suffer much anymore.

2. The building permit has finally been approved. LONG AWAITED!!! Mum and dad wasn't too happy though

3. Mum bought her first cook book. Imagine that! Undomesticated mum actually wants to cook for daddy. She's looking into trying different varieties of food so dad won't be bored with her cooking. This must be the magical power of love.

4. Mum has decided to start a little business on the side. She's done that in Singapore before and that's where her passion lies. She's selling dog apparels, especially winter wear. That probably means poor me would have to endure wearing all sorts of clothes so that I can be her model as Sooty isn't as photogenic. Keke... Loving daddy has been the source of support for mum's ideas. He's also the financial supporter. Mum can't stop raving about how sweet and supportive daddy is when he surprise her with an envelope containing her capital for her new venture. He even agrees to help her out with her Sunday market stall whenever possible. He's such a loving sweetheart, mum says. She even commented that I should be the same for Sooty but honestly, it's a bit hard when you have a crank for a wife. She's always mad at me (don't know why though). Love is oozing out of mum at the moment.... Love is in the air!

5. I got a big smack yesterday. Mum rarely gets mad at me, let alone smack me and put me outside in the cold. She had a friend over with her dog Lili. I was barking non stop and mum was a bit mad. Then the HAPPENING began.... Lili got close to mum and jealousy drove me insane. I went up and bit her a couple of times. Mum got really mad at me and put me outside. When dad got home, I got to come in and dad became the Man of the House so I didn't have to protect mum and Sooty as much but once again, Lili came too close to mum and I bit her. Not hard and never did it once drew blood but my actions made mum really insane. I heard her mentioning to dad that they need to socialise me more. In my opinion, they should just not bring other dogs over and mum should not pay attention to other dogs. That way, there will be no problems on both side. The punishment upset me a little so I had to ask mum for extra cuddles. With my sad looking eyes, she couldn't stay mad at me for long.

Hmm.... I need my afternoon nap now. The people have been going out constantly and leaving me at home alone with my princess. This makes me feel unsettled so now that they're home, I can curl up and go to sleep. I'll blog agin soon, my friends. Till then, love from the burger!
